I always liked veteran character actor Arthur O'Connell (Picnic/Bus Stop/7 Faces of Dr. Lao) since it seems he has appeared in more of my favorite movies than anybody else. But maybe why I find him so endearing is that all this time (I just figured it out recently) in the back of my mind he must be reminding me of a true American favorite, venerable newsman Walter Cronkite. I knew good old Arthur had a familiar face but I just couldn't place it!
