Robert Ryan(Flying Leathernecks/The Professionals/Dirty Dozen) and good old Teddy Ballgame, Ted Williams BoSox legend. Both of these guys were a little bit before my time I'll admit, but I'm amazed at what a skilled actor Ryan is whenever he shows up in one of my rentals. Man is he good. And one look at the back of Teddy's baseball card and the eye-popping stats just jump right out at you. Interesting to wonder how high up all the all-time lists he'd be if he hadn't lost so much playing time to war service.
